Hon. Malabo Daud Hussein, State Minister of the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Djibouti, visited Mogadishu for an official working trip to strengthen bilateral relations between Djibouti and Somalia. The visit highlights the commitment of both nations to collaborate in youth development, sports, and regional cooperation.
During her visit, Hon. Malabo met with Somali Prime Minister Hamze Abdi Barre at his office. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in youth programs, sports initiatives, and creating joint opportunities that benefit the young populations of both countries. Both parties discussed strategies to strengthen political and administrative ties, with plans to establish regular procedures for ongoing cooperation.
Hon. Malabo also visited sports facilities in Mogadishu, engaging with Somali youth participating in training programs and competitions. She emphasized the importance of providing young people with opportunities to develop their skills and highlighted the role of sports in promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion.
