Hon. Malabo Daud Hussein, State Minister of Youth & Sports of Djibouti, visited Garoowe, Puntland in June 2025. During her official trip, she met with President Said Deni, President of Puntland, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Djibouti and Puntland in the fields of youth development, sports, and regional collaboration.

The meeting focused on enhancing youth programs, sports initiatives, and educational opportunities, aiming to empower young people and foster peace and social cohesion. Hon. Malabo highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration and shared strategies to implement sustainable development programs for youth engagement.

During the visit, Hon. Malabo and President Said Deni explored potential joint initiatives, including sports competitions, youth training workshops, and community engagement programs. Both parties emphasized the importance of inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and regional stability.

Hon.
