H.E. Nasa Ige
Minister of Youth & Sports, Republic of Djibouti
H.E. Nasa Ige, born in Djibouti on 01 January 1989, currently serves as the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Djibouti. He previously served as the Presidential Advisor for International Relations and Programs in the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Somalia before pursuing higher education abroad. Driven by a strong passion for leadership, diplomacy, and international development, H.E. Nasa Ige earned a Master of National Security Policy, a Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security), and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Holding multiple citizenships — Australia, Djibouti, and Somalia — he brings extensive international experience, analytical expertise, and multicultural understanding to his leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has contributed to strategic planning, policy development, and initiatives promoting peace, unity, and sustainable development.
As Minister of Youth and Sports, he is committed to empowering youth, advancing sports development, and fostering regional cooperation across the Horn of Africa.
