Djibouti City – His Excellency Nasa Ige, Minister of Youth and Sports, officially launched the “Youth for Progress” national initiative during a colorful ceremony at Djibouti Stadium. The program aims to empower young citizens through entrepreneurship training, sports mentorship, and digital literacy.

Hundreds of youth leaders, educators, and community representatives attended the event. In his speech, Minister Ige emphasized that the government views young people as “active partners in national development.”

The initiative, supported by the Ministry of Education and several private sector partners, will train over 10,000 youth in leadership, innovation, and sports management within two years.

Minister Ige reaffirmed Djibouti’s commitment to investing in its youth, saying: “A nation’s progress is measured not only by its economy but by the energy of its young people.”
