H.E. Ayub Abdirizak Ahmed

H.E. Ayub Abdirizak Ahmed, born in Somalia on 01 January 1988, currently serves as the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Djibouti. He previously served as a Diplomat and Security Expert, contributing to national stability, strategic planning, and community development initiatives.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Somalia before pursuing higher education abroad. Driven by a strong passion for leadership, diplomacy, and youth empowerment, H.E. Ayub Abdirizak Ahmed earned a Master of National Security Policy, a Master of Leadership and Management (Policing and Security), and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Holding multiple citizenships — Somalia and Djibouti — he brings extensive international experience, analytical expertise, and multicultural understanding to his leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has contributed to strategic planning, policy development, and initiatives promoting peace, youth development, and sustainable community programs.
As Minister of Youth and Sports, he is committed to empowering youth, advancing sports development, and fostering regional cooperation across the Horn of Africa.
