Hon. Malabo Daud Hussein
State Minister – Ministry of Youth & Sports, Djibouti
Hon. Malabo Daud Hussein, born on 14 August 1999 in Karaan District, Banaadir Region, Mogadishu, Somalia, is the current State Minister of the Ministry of Youth & Sports in Djibouti. She completed her primary and secondary education in Mogadishu and earned her higher education at the University of Somalia (UNISO). Malabo has expanded her knowledge and skills through advanced studies and professional training programs in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia. Holding dual citizenship of Somalia and Djibouti, she brings international experience and expertise to her role.
As State Minister, Malabo leads initiatives focused on youth empowerment, sports development, and community engagement. She is a strong advocate for inclusive governance, gender equality, and leadership development. Throughout her career, she has worked to create programs that foster skills, promote sports participation, and inspire the next generation of Djibouti’s youth. Her contributions also extend to supporting national policies, implementing strategic initiatives within the Ministry, and ensuring that youth programs are effective, inclusive, and aligned with the country’s development goals.
